Submission Grappling 5

This was the first event that we ever recorded video footage of the matches!  It was an awesome night of grappling and we have three matches to share.  Ty says he will use a lower quality this week and hopefully be able to record all the matches.

Here is a very dynamic match of Me vs Ty. I almost take his back and then we end up in a very strange position. Then he does a wild spin move and almost taps me with a Kimura but I am barely able to survive and then tap him with a Rear Naked Choke.

Here is a great match between Ty and Adam. Adam pulls guard and tries to work rubber guard but before he can establish the position Ty passes into side control. Almost as quickly as Ty got the position Adam reversed it, landing him top position. Ty then gives Adam his back but Adam is not able to get any hooks in. Adam then ends up in side control and quickly transitions into mount. He bounces between armbar attempts, side control and mount before having to tap to an amazing Kimura from Ty, who executed it while in bottom position of mount.

This was a difficult match for me vs Adam. I spent the entire match in bottom position, which is fine, but not since we hit the time limit. He takes me down into half guard, we reset in closed guard (yay!). I try to keep his posture broken but he passes my guard into side control. I weasel my way back to half guard where we stay for a minute or two. Then I am almost able to take his back but he has my head controlled so we end up in closed guard. I am trying to work rubber guard and eventually progress to a triangle choke but my punk ass rubber guard is pathetic and gets passed with ease. From side control we get a beautiful view of Adam's pitsweat and we goof around until we reset in closed guard. We clinch up a few different ways until I try to take Adam's back and fail, ending up in variation of butterfly guard which I turn into closed guard. The last minute or so of the match is uneventful and he wins by points.
